Infection control training relevant to COVID-19 spread prevention. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to follow organisational infection prevention and control procedures, including implementing standard and transmission-based precautions and responding to infection risks. This unit applies to individuals working in health and direct client care contexts.
What you will learn:
During this course you will learn, hand hygiene practices, how to properly wash your hands, you will gain an indepth understaning of key modes of disease transmission, how to break the chain of infection. You will also gain knowledge on PPE selection and use and removal techniques to prevent contamination.

This is an online course with assessments via Embracia Educations Learning Managment System with remote support from Embracia educators.
