Become a Physiotherapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant
Allied health assistant provides therapeutic and program related support to persons, in the health, aged care, disability and any other settings where allied health professionals provide services.
What you will learn:
Learn how to support and assist other allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Enhance your skills and knowledge in medical terminology, body systems and functions, communication and ethical practises.
Award:
This course is a nationally recognised qualification. Upon completion Mayfield will award you with HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assitance.
If the full course is not completed, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for any units where competency has been attained.
